The approval given by the Osun State Ministry of Education to Divine Nursery and Primary Schools opened up Ogo-Oluwa and its environs to the world of primary education on 6th November, 1995 (in Osogbo). Divine Schools, being the front runner and pacesetter schools in Osogbo is the brainchild of Rev.(Dr) J.A.B Omigade(JP).

Divine Nursery and Primary Schools set with eleven (11) pupils only three (3) teachers as well as the tireless efforts of Omigade family coupled with the Divine guidance of the supreme being, God.

The journey since 1995 has taken the school unto international level. The school extends its tentacle across junior secondary school up senior secondary school.

The junior secondary school is offering all the necessary subjects in the curriculum while the senior school recruits students for Arts, Science, Commercial as well vocational studies. Glory is to thy name. The premises of the school conveniently accommodate every school with the extra curriculum activities like sports, farming and certain engineering works.


Objectives

Born in the Holy Communion of Divine Church Evangelistic Ministries compound in Osogbo, Divine Schools take after the historical missionary schools. The schools major essence and focus is to feed the children socially, academically and spiritually towards the betterment of our society. The tuition fee is bearable and affordable.

The college takes caution to provide a conducive atmosphere for young boys and girls from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Boarding facilities are also part of the advantages to the students particularly boys and girls from abroad or outside Osun State capital. More also, Divine Schools stand also prepares to fulfill the following:
  1. The enunciated national policy on education must be upheld to the letter.
  2. Students should be equipped for the present and future challenges
  3. Young ones should be recruited or prepared for higher education in connection to the basic rudiments in Nigerian secondary schools as in the National Policy on Education:
    • To provide students with opportunity for education of a high quality, irrespective of sex, social, religious or ethnic background,
    • To operate a diversified curriculum suited to the diverse talents of its students and cared towards the multipurpose roles, its products will be called upon to play after their secondary school education,
    • To develop students in accordance with the present transition in science and technology worldwide,
    • To pave way for enriched and formidable culture, arts and language,
    • To impart understandable and moral faith in God in compliance with the holy book (Bible and Al-Quran)
    • To train the students to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship through various sportive activities.
